EARTHQUAKE SHAKES NEPAL: WHAT IS KNOWN?

A magnitude 5.9 earthquake struck western Nepal on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11:47 p.m. local time (6:02 p.m. GMT). The epicenter of the earthquake was located 18 kilometers deep and in the Jumla district, a mountainous region of the Nepalese province of Karnali.
